Creditworthiness is based upon your length of time with your employer. A term of at least six months is needed in order to qualify for a WPC apartment rental and one year for a WPC single family home rental. Employers are verified using a National Employer Verification software to ensure the validity of the company.
Although an applicant's credit score is not used to determine approval, WPC must perform a background check to confirm each applicant's identity to prevent fraud or misrepresentation - such as identity theft.
To secure an application with WPC: Applicants must pay the following to secure an application with Whisper Phoenix Corp: Application & Administrative Fees.
To secure home: Applicant MUST provide the Security Deposit the day BEFORE move-in; in a separate form of payment.
To move-in: First month's rent the day Before move-in (if prorated due to date of move-in, the last month of lease is prorated) and all applicable fees.
Application fees non-refundable and are used to pay for the services obtained by third parties for both background checks and income verification completed by WPC. These fees are determined based on property type and are due at time of application.
Apartment/Condo - $100. Single Family/Townhome - $100
Administrative fees are non-refundable and are used to pay for the application fees at a total of three (3) properties. Administrative fees are determined based on property type and are due within five (5) days of Approval into WPC's Corporate Leasing Program. Apartment/Condo - $350 and Single Family/Townhome - $450. Applications will be DENIED if funds are not received by the due date - due to the inability to move forward your application.
The security deposit will be used to cover any damages made to the property during rental term or to cover fees affiliated with breaking the lease. This deposit is returned 45 days after move-out. Security deposit amounts are determined based on the type of property leased. Deposits are set at one month's rent and are due the day BEFORE move-in.
Application, Administrative, Security Deposits & First Month's Rent must be paid with certified funds, debit or credit ONLY.
Monthly rental payments & utilities must be made using resident portal.
WPC does not accept personal or business checks at this time.
All new residents must bring the following items with them on the day BEFORE move-in to receive their keys:
